shell and tube heat exchangers

Ametek FPP are the industry Leading and Manufacturers of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers . with High thermal efficiency and Corrosion-resistant.

Immersion Coil heat exchangers

Immersion coil heat exchangers have small tubes made of flexible fluoropolymer that are braided into coils. Coils can be installed into almost any tank configuration. Braids are separated by spacers for optimum thermal performance. Unlike some immersion coils made of sub-quality material, AMETEK tubing is made of high-quality FEP, PFA or proprietary Q-Series resins. As the original manufacturer of fluoropolymer heat exchangers, AMETEK has the tightest quality specs and the most experience solving scale and fouling issues. AMETEK heat exchangers feature braided tubing bundles and unique fused ends that provide significantly better heat transfer from a smaller footprint than similar heat exchangers, allowing iinstallation in virtually any type of tank configuration. AMETEK’s proprietary honeycomb process ensures long service life with no leaks or thermo-mechanical failures commonly found on other heat exchangers. #immersioncoilheatexchangers     #ametekfpp    #immersioncoils   #heatex

What are fluoropolymer shell and tube heat exchangers used for?

AMETEK Fluoropolymer   shell and tube heat exchangers  are used mostly in the chemical processing industry for heating, cooling, condensing, and evaporating highly corrosive liquids and gases. Sulfuric Acid is the chemical most used with AMETEK FPP heat exchangers.  The process of making sulfuric acid can vary, but any company dealing with the manufacturing process has a high potential for the use of a fluoropolymer heat exchanger in their process.  Other Acids commonly requiring fluoropolymer heat exchangers are Hydrochloric, Nitric and Hydrofluoric Acids.  Another chemical manufacturing industry fluoropolymer heat exchangers are used in is the Chlor-Alkali manufacturing process. The Chlor-Alkali process produces chlorine as well as sodium hydroxide, ammonia hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide through an electrolytic cell. Once the process is complete, the chlorine must be cooled and dried, and the caustic must be condensed.  Other applications ideal for fluoropolymer shell and tube hea

What is Fluoropolymer Tubing?

What is Fluoropolymer Tubing? AMETEK Fluor-X™ fluoropolymer tubing is designed for both ultrahigh purity and highly corrosive applications in a wide range of temperatures.  Fluoropolymer tubing and pipe  can be cut and used in special applications as well as OEM system designs. The nonstick characteristics of fluoropolymer resins, combined with their chemically inert nature, make AMETEK tubing ideal for aerospace, automotive, electronics, food and beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and chemical processing applications.
